Character name: Alvis E. Hamilton
Series: Last Exile: Fam the Silver Wing
Age: 13
Canon:In a world where resources are limited, huge interstellar transport ships called Exiles are being collected and used as weapons of mass destruction by the Ades Federation. After the capture of their own ship, the kingdom of Turan must make allies and fight to protect the last peaceful Exile from capture. The most important mission becomes uniting countries to protect the only person who can control this Exile: a young girl named Alvis E. Hamilton.
Conflict surrounding Alvis and her abilities as Exile key has kept the her on the run since she was a baby. Because guardians have coddled and sheltered her, Alvis is still very innocent and childlike in many ways. As she’s forced to make new friends in dangerous situations, Alvis gains more self-confidence and awareness of not only her powers to control the Exile but the drive within herself to make a difference in the world around her. And even though she still occasionally doubts her abilities, Al is a kind and dedicated girl who is always doing the best for her new family, including other young, endangered Exiles like herself.
Note: One of Alvis’ treasures is a plush goat toy she got from another character.

Tell us about yourself in a few words.
My name is Alvis E. Hamilton. Or... maybe Al, if you’d like. I’ve moved around a lot recently so I’m sorry but telling you where I’m from might be a little complicated...
Why are you joining our happy community?
Ah! I am coming here because of the space and flight program! Camp Flying Under Dur... Dures... Oh, Direction! I really want to be a great pilot! To be able to fly freely through the skies just like everyone from home and develop all the instincts good pilots need.
What do you expect from your camp experience?
I want to learn how to fly but I think it also be good to... maybe meet people? You never know when you might need an ally or could help someone. And I think we will all work hard to learn and will support each other -- we’re all striving to do our best after all.
If you could get away with committing one crime and suffer absolutely no consequences, what would you do and why?
N-no! No, of course not! You shouldn’t commit crimes just because you think no one will know... It will damage you and others. There would still be a victim and I could never do that to anyone. This kind of thinking is everything that we’re fighting against back home. We should all work together instead!
What would you consider to be your “soul” animal and why? (this is for purely scientific purposes and will not have consequences during your stay at all. Trust us! :))
Um... maybe... A goat!
...A goat with wings!
Can you perform a flawless headshot? If not, and if your life depended on it, how many hours a week would you be willing to spend on the shooting range?
I don’t know how to shoot but I know it could be important. People have to use flares while flying and sometimes need them to defend themselves. It... It makes me a little nervous to think about that and I’m not sure I’d be any good but I would do whatever I need to become stronger. You should learn everything you can when it comes to protecting others, right?
Would you be able to dispose of the flesh of the undead? How?
F-Flesh of the undead?! I-I’m not even sure, um... If... I know what that means exactly... They should maybe have a proper burial? I would do my best because it’s important to honor people who have passed.
If there was a good dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why?
T-That’s terrible... But even if the criminal is bad, they are still a person. Human life is important and we have to protect that, no matter what. So I would try to save the person and then the poor dog.
What if it was a goat and a criminal?
E-Eeeehh??! T-That’s... That’s not... C-can’t the goat climb the clif--
Do you find these questions increasingly unnerving? Why/Why not?
Um... Y-yes.A little? I don’t really understand what they have to do with flying? It makes it seem a little weird... S-sorry...
