[Guiding him through the workshop and it looks like a well-used place. Benches full of parts, blueprints and idea sketches, cans of fuel lined up on the back wall, etc. They weave around Claus and Dio's big vanships and there on the other side sits a slightly smaller one, heavily modified]
[he slows down, looking at everything with a bit of awe. among all these parts and blueprints, he looks a little less awkward. at her insistence, though, his attention jumps back to her]
This is my vanship. It's not as big as the others and it doesn't have the same top-end power but it's really maneuverable -- especially in tight spaces. You should see it in the forest! The others couldn't do that. And it can't carry weapons or fight in the wars but it can go higher and faster because it's so light. I'm sure I will win any race with it when I'm a better pilot.
See? It's not about how big something is but how you use it. Everything is designed a specific way for a reason. ...And sheep really are cool.
[She'll help him climb the wing and get into the seat before taking her place. It's set up like Dio's so there's no divide between the navi area and pilot]
...If there was a dragon in Camp that I could ride...
Ah! It's an engine fueled by claudia. There's a gyroscope for balance and... [going into technical details as she begins the start-up process. As soon as the fuel is stable and engine warmed up, she rolls them out of the hangar]
[he listens intently as she explains, nodding and making small, contemplative noises throughout. once they start moving he's practically vibrating with excitement. never before seen machines that can fly!! so cool]
[Glancing back at him to check reactions. She's never flown with someone as enthusiastic about flying as people from her home world are and so she usually just takes them on nice safe jaunts over Camp]
You said you fly on dragons, right? So you like this type of thing...?
