20,000 Comments Party

I was curious and checked Al's profile this morning only to discover she JUST passed 20,000 comments this morning/last night. 

Seems like it's time for a CR meme/plotting post! Let's talk about how much Alvis loves everyone (except Rin and Ankh) and plan future things. I'd like to keep her around for at LEAST another 40,000 so help me come up with ideas and directions and all of those grand structure type things that people like me enjoy. 

And if you don't want to talk about just Al then Toothless and Dale can go here too. Just make it one big ol' character party.

Those three chords are THE BEST THREE EVER PLAYED! Behind Demyx, of course. She's super enthusiastic about this new musical adventure. ...Her abilities are probably a little inflated though. She can remember what he teaches her but doesn't have any innate amazing talent for it. Luckily it's October and she has nothing but time on her hands so she gets to practice a LOT.

Al thinks all you clone ladies are super great but Sarah seems like the most fun. She worries about you though because it seems like y'all are ALWAYS in trouble and getting hurt -- which is saying a lot coming from a Last Exile character. I think she probably brings Sarah all kinds of photographs of weird, random Camp things for her to bring home to Kira. She really wishes she could meet your daughter :(

For some reason she feels pretty safe with Sarah and Alison. Al viewed them as Trustworthy Guardian Figures right off the bat. I think she has this fascination with mothers because she's never really known any. She's curious and watches what you guys do, how you interact with kids.

Since Dio is gone, she may be bringing Sarah more random things she thinks is cool just because she always feels the need to share, for better or worse. Enjoy that three headed newt/weird rock/whole case of silly string.

I enjoy his threads with Al a lot, I think they should have some stupid horrible adventure together.

YES!! I love their terrible idea adventures. It's nice that Hamel can teach her, by example, how to be a kid. It's good for her to get into mischief that doesn't involve people accidentally dying or getting kidnapped.

Although since he caught her pulling a prank on him AND retaliated, she's now on a mission to do something and not get caught.

Okay, Alvis first.

She could not love him any more than she already does. It's utter (I almost mistyped udder) adoration.

That said, she does a lot of things to keep him happy and energetic. If he seems distracted or down, Alvis checks in on him and then does whatever she can to distract. She knows he has a lot of heavy things/responsibilities weighing on him and she wants Camp to be as much of a vacation for him as it is for her. Since this is how people generally treat HER when she's sad, Al is passing it on to him.

She is such a sponge for knowledge. She wants to know EVERYTHING and feels that Cesare is the doorway to achieving this. Just the other day she was telling Alphonse to ask him a question she didn't know the answer to. Whenever she's curious about something, it's straight to Cesare because she knows that even if he doesn't readily know the answer, he can point her in the right direction. Cesare is her Wikipedia.

He'll probably see a lot more of her these days, what with Dio being gone. She's lost a few people now and the idea of never seeing someone again is scaring her. So she might be a little more attached to his elbow than usual. He's become so important and such a figure in her life that she's not quite sure what she'll do when they have to part.

Yes, let's! I have a terrible habit of getting to a post early and then just throwing in my tag and never looking back to hop into others'.

Okay, Alvis first since I have her on the brain.

She just wants so badly to please Alison. Please approve of me! Alison is actually the first guardian figure that actually has kids -- she's not used to structure and boundaries and safety first! DIO IS THE OPPOSITE OF THIS. Al also feels to the need to prove herself to Alison. That she's capable and will make good decisions. She's at that awkward age where she still wants people to take care of her and is pretty needy but really wants to be seen as a competent equal.

I mentioned it a little up in Sarah's response but she is just so curious and drawn to moms. She's never known any and wants to see what they're all about. ...It's sad.

But all that gooey feelings stuff aside, she loves how active Alison is because she's the same way. Hands in a dozen different pots and trying to do everything at once! She's curious about soccer so we'll have to do that sometime.

Makoto!

She likes Makoto a lot. Before your crew, she wasn't really used to nice guys? Nico is so tsun! She knows how to navigate the tsun waters! So she had to jump right in and was trying to convince these guys that they were awesome and to be friend with her and... it went over a lot easier than she was expecting, haha...

She really really wants to be part of the swimming team. Alvis is always looking for different places to BELONG and to be PART of something. It's this compulsive thing with her where she will try all these new activities to have this bond with someone -- swimming with the Free boys, music with Demyx, vanships with her cast.

But Makoto seems genuinely sweet and so they can just be the resident Nice Club where they take care of everyone else and don't address their own issues if they can help it.

Jason!

JASON = FRIENDLY COMPETITION! And we all know how Alvis likes that. If she wasn't so smitten with Jean then I'm sure it would be easy for her to develop a little crush on Jason. He's not quite sassy enough though.

Jason is the normal demigod. She was so used to Nico that it threw her off at first but she's adjusted and appreciates how much he cares for her big brother. Please continue to help her keep Nico sane and healthy!

Also she was planning on visiting Jason with baked goods baskets while he was recovering. She'd bring books and arts&crafts activities that may or may not involve dangerous chemicals.

Jean!

Oh, Jean. He had her interest when he promised he wouldn't fight her battles for her because he respected her ability to take care of things. She's so used to people moving in and trying to solve her problems for her, getting upset on her behalf and taking action. He sees her as an equal and is protective without being overbearing and sheltering. She needs someone to kind of watch out for her and to care without being controlling. ...Because then she just does what she wants and ends up stowing away on a vanship that gets attacked, putting herself into exactly the position that people were trying to avoid. (Like what's happening in the thread where they're rescuing Cesare, h-hah sorry Jean)

Jean is a lot of fun, good competition, and has the best reactions. He's probably the person she goes to first if she's having ~feelings~ and I think it stems from the fact that he readily opens up to her as well. They have great open communication and are just so darn cute.

Okay, I'm sure I have more but you start talking to me about all these people and I'll think of other things.

Y'know, I've never had a really firm grasp on whether Alvis even likes Thor or not. Can you clear this up?

Also how much busier is he going to have to be to keep tabs on her now?

Well there are a couple of properties at work here...

The Inverse Square Law says the more free time you have, the less trouble she will be getting herself into... And therefor the less free time you have the more mischief she'll be getting into.

And also the amount of trouble she gets into increases exponentially to the amount of the she is conscious.

Alvis and Ankh!

Still doesn't really like him. Still won't go out of her way to hang out with him. Did appreciate that he actually talked to her, albeit while in hand-on-a-leash form. Ankh being a dick has actually helped her in that now she realizes that she deserves a certain level of treatment from people when she has gone out of her way to be nice to them. And to stick up for it when it's not received.

Also please keep your boyfriend and his underwear away from me.

Al and Jiu Wu!

Jiu Wu seems to have the same level of neediness and desire to be around people that she does and it throws her off sometimes because she's always viewed it as the childish part of herself that she should shed. So being around him feels incredibly indulgent in that she gets to hang off of him or drape over him, receive hair pets, etc etc. That what they do behind closed doors and while a movie is playing is their little secret.

He's been a great source of comfort for her lately. Jiu Wu is gentle, patient, and very understanding. ...Except when she gets a bee in her bonnet about Ting Yu and he won't let her thrash him. It was actually a bit of a relief to have someone else be upset about Dio leaving. That they could share that sadness. With everyone else she's put on this face and insists that she'll be fine because she'll see him again when she goes home. ...When the truth is that she misses his guidance and energy. She feels kinda lost and lonely :( Dio understood her background and why things bothered her! So the fact that she didn't have to sweep that (even temporary) loss under the rug was very nice.

In terms of plotting!! Man, I'd really love to thread out some of Felix teaching Alvis....something, or even mutual information exchange sessions (because he knows she has things to teach him too!) Or more vanship shenanigans. Or some guardian shenanigans.

Also any situation where Archie flusters Dale, because it's precious. (alternately, a situation where she sits up and takes notice because Dale can be badass)

Alvis loves you a lot.

Felix is so calm and steady. He's great for her to go to when she's all worked up because he doesn't panic or become emotional -- he just calms her down with that sweet sweet voice of his and helps her focus and deal with things.

That said, she meant it when she said a giant predator cat was perfect for him. Alvis recognizes this sort of coiled part of him that could snap if pushed too far in a certain direction. That he probably has certain buttons that should never be pressed because once he snapped, he would feel terrible and possibly wouldn't be able to go back to the way things were. And that it is probably tied to how sad he seems sometimes.

Felix kind of breaks her giant loli heart sometimes. She just wants him to feel as secure and comfortable as he's made her. To wrap him up in a big ol' warm fleece blanket, reassure him that everything will be better from here on out, and then HAVE IT BE TRUE. With Dio's departure, she's panicking again about having to separate from certain people -- Felix being one of them. There may be another conversation about making sure he knows that he's welcome on her Earth. She doesn't want to press the issue but at the same time has all these dreams of Felix being able to start over in a new world where no one knows his past and where Camp won't... show that past and all it's dark sides to everyone.

Sam and Alvis really would be adorable. They could have adventures together.

Toothless loves Sam! This guy pets him, feeds him, and thinks he's a badass dragon. Who wouldn't like someone constantly stroking their ego like that? Sam is recognized as a person who responds positively to Toothless' presence and, like a big ol' puppy, it gets a good reaction in turn. There are certain people he wants to please and you're one of them.

I think Toothless also somewhat associates wee!Sam with big!Sam but he's confused as to why. You smell the same but are not the same. So he finds himself trying to make up for something that he's not sure happened with you...
